Master Whitlow, Thank you for the opportunity to find my Juk-Ahm Spirit! I pushed myself farther than I knew I could. the primitive warrior spirit is waiting below the surface and your camp brought it out. I really enjoyed the stick and joint lock training. I am looking forward to my next camp. ~David Jerrels
First and foremost it was great! It really made me push myself and that felt good. Sir, I particularly liked the water exercises and the sparring was great! I will be back and I thank you very much for this experience. A.S.A. ~Jimmy Van Horn
At first, I did not want to come to the camp. It just sounded like a workout with a high rank yelling the routines for you to do. When I came to the camp I found that Master Whitlow was very calm and that he did the course with us. I really enjoyed the sticks, the trapping and the locks. This course is actually pretty creative....you will sweat and I like that. This camp tests your integrity, fortitude and the idea of teamwork. Thank you Master Whitlow for the experience and for your hospitality. ~Austin Larey
The ASA Hill was a wonderful test of strength and endurance. The river kicks were awesome, the resistance from the water was so intense, it was the greatest thing I have ever done. Overall it was such a great experience. I look forward to the next camp and continuing training. Thank you Master Whitlow for all of it. ~Jason Kirby
I worked hard to get ready for Juk-Ahm Camp and that was a good thing. I found strength I did not know I had. This was an amazing experience and anyone who loves martial arts would, without a doubt, become a better person from this experience. I can't wait for the next time. Thanks for your high expectations of us. That made me press on. ~Mrs. Pam Jones, 6th Degree Black Belt, Terre Haute, Indiana
Camp Juk-Ahm experience was great. A chance to get back to the basics and reach inside of yourself for the human spirit. A time to push yourself harder than you normally do and have encouragement from other campers. Thank you for the friendship and unity created during the camp. ASA! ~Dale Jones, 6th Degree Black Belt, Terre Haute, Indiana
The activities at Camp Juk-Ahm pushed some people to their limit and some pushed past their limits! The drills with kicks really strengthened my leg muscles. Would really like to fish there, the river sure was beautiful. ~Frank Grissom
The ASA Hill was a blast, a heck of a leg builder. Finding our warrior spirit was awesome. In finding it we completed the course. Being with high ranking black belts that are so sociable was very exciting, not all organizations are like that. Thanks for this experience. ~Cody Griffin
Camp Juk-Ahm was physically challenging in areas of balance, endurance, body control and energy level changes. Mentally fun in keeping your attention on the drill at hand and developing an attitude of best effort with no fear. My spirit was uplifted. Thanks teacher, brother and friend. ~Master Burton, 7th Degree Black Belt. Hot Springs, AR
Camp Juk-Ahm is an awesome experience. It is my chance to get away from by business and refresh my spirit. This camp remotivates me to train hard and allows me to refocus my energy. The camaraderie and the outdoor setting helps to regenerate my spirit. This the best thing I can do for myself. I totally enjoy it. ~Master Russ Northup, 7th Degree Black Belt, Indianapolis, Indiana
Before I went to Juk-Ahm I was shy and unsure of myself. I was scared to even walk down a row at Wal-Mart by myself if there were people down it. Juk-Ahm has helped me become more self-confident. ~Ariel Chism
Juk-Ahm is a session with Master Brad Whitlow that you will never forget. I have been a student for a year and it has been one of the best years of my life. I’m in the best shape I have ever been in thanks to this program ~Aaron Chism
I do martial arts for p.e. in school. We run, and we learn defense things. We do kicks and punches and stuff like that. Martial arts has taught me self defense. ~Leah Chism
As a Juk-Ahm Mom, I now have more confidence in allowing my children to go places they need to go on their own. I feel they have learned more in the area of self defense then they could have ever learned anywhere else. ~Eujeana Chism
